Seats have been allotted considering performance in JEE Main/JEE Advanced, seat availability, choices filled, and reservation criteria.

What After JoSAA Seat Allocation Round 6 2025?

Candidates must download the JoSAA seat allotment letter 2025 after checking their allotment status from the online portal. The selected candidates have to complete the following steps to confirm admission:

Acceptance of the seat: The selected students must submit their willingness by selecting freeze or float. The float option won’t be available for the IIT aspirants as it will be considered the final round.
Fee Payment: Candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee after freezing their option. The fee is Rs 35,000 for general candidates and Rs 15,000 for reserved candidates.
Document Verification: After the fee payment, candidates can proceed with the next step, i.e., document verification as per the specified timeline. It is mandatory to carry only original documents.

JoSAA round 6 is considered to be the final round for those aspiring to secure a seat at IITs. Those offered a seat can proceed with online fee payment and document uploading. Candidates must complete the online reporting between July 16, 2025, and July 20, 2025.
