What After JoSAA Seat Allocation Round 6 2025?
Candidates must download the JoSAA seat allotment letter 2025 after checking their allotment status from the online portal. The selected candidates have to complete the following steps to confirm admission:
- Acceptance of the seat: The selected students must submit their willingness by selecting freeze or float. The float option won’t be available for the IIT aspirants as it will be considered the final round.
- Fee Payment: Candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee after freezing their option. The fee is Rs 35,000 for general candidates and Rs 15,000 for reserved candidates.
- Document Verification: After the fee payment, candidates can proceed with the next step, i.e., document verification as per the specified timeline. It is mandatory to carry only original documents.
JoSAA round 6 is considered to be the final round for those aspiring to secure a seat at IITs. Those offered a seat can proceed with online fee payment and document uploading. Candidates must complete the online reporting between July 16, 2025, and July 20, 2025.
