JEE Main 2026 City Slip for session 1 will be released by this week on the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Exam is scheduled between January 21 and 30, 2026.

JEE Main 2026 City Slip Session 1: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release the city intimation slip of the JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam. The exam conducting authorities will release the JEE Main 2026 City Slip on the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can expect it between January 7 and 13, 2026. JEE Main 2026 aspirants can download and check their JEE Main 2026 Session 1 City Intimation Slip once released.

The city slip will include the details of the test centre city and the exam date allotted to the candidate. With the release of the JEE Main 2026 City Intimation Slip Session 1, candidates will be able make arrangements for their accommodation beforehand. However, it is crucial to note that the city slip is different from the JEE Main 2026 Admit Card. The exact exam centre address and reporting timing will be mentioned on the hall ticket only.

The authorities will release the hall ticket 3-4 days before the exam day. No candidate will be allowed to enter the JEE Main 2026 examination hall without their admit card. The JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam is scheduled between January 21 and 30, 2026, for Paper 1 and Paper 2 in morning and afternoon shifts. The morning shift will be held from 9:00 AM to 12 noon, while the afternoon shift will take place from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

JEE Main 2026 City Intimation Slip Session 1 Important Details

Candidates appearing for the JEE Main 2026 January Session Exam and are waiting for the City Intimation Slip to be released can check the details related to it:
The JEE Main 2026 City Slip is released before the hall ticket. It includes the basic information about the exam centre city, and the exam date allotted to the candidate.
The JEE Main 2026 City Intimation Slip does not include the exact centre address and the exam slot allotted.
Exam authorities release the city intimation slip to assist candidates in planning their accommodation and travel beforehand without any hassle.
It is not mandatory to carry the JEE Main 2026 City Slip to the examination centre.
Candidates must match the application number, name, category, and other details after downloading the City Slip.
In case of any error, candidates are advised not to panic and contact the authorities through the NTA helpdesk numbers.
Complete exam centre address, shift, reporting time, roll number, and other instructions will be mentioned on the JEE Main 2026 Admit Card. Candidates must download the hall ticket to appear for the JEE Main 2026 Exam.

The JEE Main Paper 1 is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes at NITs, IIITs, other CFTIs, and institutions and universities funded or recognised by participating state governments. JEE Main Paper 2 on the other hand is conducted for admission to BArch and BPlanning courses in participating institutes.
