JEE Main 2024: NTA Issues Important Exam Day Instructions, Do's and Don'ts

JEE Main 2024: The National Testing Agency has issued the instructions to be followed on the JEE Main exam date 2024. The JEE main 2024 exam has been scheduled to be conducted on Jan 24, Jan 27, Jan 29, Jan 30, Jan 31, and Feb 1, 2024.

JEE Main 2024 Exam Day Instructions

Candidates must refer to the JEE Main 2024 exam day instructions to conduct themselves accordingly.

• Candidates will not be permitted to enter the JEE Main 2024 exam premises after the gates are closed, and they will not be allowed to leave the exam center before the exam conclusion.
• It is advisable for students wearing any special attire due to religious reasons to reach the exam centers earlier to undergo thorough checking and mandatory frisking.
• The candidate needs to carry the JEE Main 2024 admit card for address proof along with the list of documents to bring.
• Candidates who do not possess the NTA JEE Mains hall ticket 2024 will not be allowed to attempt the exam under any circumstances by the Centre Superintendent.
• Before reaching the JEE Main exam centers, students must carefully fill out the self-declaration form, paste their passport-sized photograph, as well as put the left-hand thumb impression in the provided space.
• Candidates must listen to the instructions laid down by the invigilator.
• Candidates must maintain social distancing as prescribed in JEE Mains 2024 guidelines.
• Students must immediately take a seat once the examination hall opens. 
• They will be provided with a Pen/Pencil and blank paper of rough work in the examination hall. With this, candidates must write their name and roll number at the top of their sheet. Further, this sheet must be returned to the invigilator before leaving the JEE Main exam 2024 hall.
• Applicants must enter the required details in the attendance sheet and put signatures while pasting their photographs at the designated place.
• It is significant for the candidates to ensure that their left thumb impression is clear and not smudged on the attendance sheet.
• Those who claim PwD reservations must carry a PwD certificate and ID proof for the JEE Main 2024 exam issued by the competent authority to the exam center.

On the JEE main 2024 exam day, candidates will be required to maintain silence. Any conversation, gesture, or disturbance in the JEE Main exam 2024 hall will be deemed as misbehavior. In addition, if a candidate is found using unfair means or impersonating their candidature will be liable to be debarred from taking an examination.
