JEE Main 2024 Exam Day Instructions: Strict Rules to Be Implemented
JEE Main 2024 Exam Day Instructions have been revised by NTA officials. Invigilators to be more vigilant and exam centre guidelines more strict from this year onwards.
JEE Main 2024 Exam Day Instructions: The National Testing Agency will implement strict rules during the JEE Main 2024 exams. The JEE Main Session 1 Exam 2024 is scheduled from Jan 24 to Feb 1. To avoid malpractice, the authorities will implement frisking and biometric identification processes at the exam centres.
As per the latest announcements, the JEE Main candidates taking a toilet break during the examination will be subject to frisking and biometric attendance on returning to the exam hall. Moreover, the officials from the agency, observers, and other staff, including help serving refreshments present at the exam centre, will also have to go through the frisking and biometric identification process.

In a statement, Subodh Kumar Singh, director general of NTA, said that the exam invigilators are being trained to recognize more novel methods of committing fraud. He also added that the agency is making a list of the private centres with computers that have been criticized for lack of preparedness and security concerns.
Mr Singh stated that the agency aims to improve the avoidance of unfair means during the examination. As the notifications and registrations are completed in advance, the agency has the time to improve security measures and preparedness.
The agency has announced these new practices to curb cheating or malpractice during the examinations. All candidates appearing for the exam are expected to cooperate with the officials during the various procedures. The JEE Main 2024 Exam Day Instructions mentioned on the candidates' admit cards will brief them about the procedures.
