IIT JAM Counselling 2024 Registration Window Closes Today: Check Counselling Procedure

IIT JAM Counselling 2024 Registration: IIT Madras will close the window to submit the application form for IIT JAM 2024 Counselling today, Apr 29, 2024. Eligible candidates should apply as soon as possible because IIT Madras will close the application form for the IIT JAM Counselling 2024 Registration window at 5:00 PM. Once the registration window closes, the counselling process will begin and the JAM 1st Admission List 2024 will be released on May 31.

The IIT JAM 2024 counselling is conducted to allot seats to candidates in various courses. They can apply for more than one program by paying a non-refundable application fee. The seat allotment for all the registered candidates will be based on their choices of courses and colleges.

Steps to Complete the IIT JAM Counselling 2024 Registration Process

Below are the steps for the candidates to complete the IIT JAM Counselling Registration 2024 from the website.

1. Interested and eligible candidates must first visit the official website: jam.iitm.ac.in.
2. Then, proceed to login to the JOAPS Portal using their credentials
3. Students should provide their preferred choices for institutions along with other crucial information as part of the JAM Choice Filling 2024
4. Upload the required documents for verification.
5. Proceed to pay the JAM Counselling fee
6. Once the registration is complete, the seat allotment will be processed
7. IIT Madras will release the IIT JAM 2024 first admission list on May 31, 2024, along with the JAM opening and closing ranks online. 
8. The candidates will be given the option to Accept and freeze, accept and upgrade and Reject and quit the allotted seat
9. If the candidate accepts the seat, they will proceed to the document verification process

For the JAM 2024 2nd and 3rd Admission list will be released on Jun 12th and 21st respectively.
