• To complete the IIM CAT 2024 Registration, candidates must have an undergraduate degree from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC, ST, and PWD/DA categories).
• The bachelor's degree can be obtained through regular or distance study, but it must be completed in three years.
• Applicants with a professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA/FCAI) and an acceptable percentage can take the CAT exam.
• Candidates in the last year of their undergraduate studies or awaiting results are eligible for participation in the CAT 2024 exam.

It must be noted that the CAT score can also be used for admission to IIMs' Executive MBA, PhD, and FPM programs in addition to full-time MBA programs. Professionals in employment and postgraduates are welcome to take this exam in addition to undergraduates.
