IBS Introduces Micro Presentation in Selection Process of IBSAT: ICFAI has announced the addition of a Micro-presentation round in the IBSAT Selection process. Candidates who has qualified the IBSAT exam and will be proceeding to the next stages will have to participate in the Micro-presentation round as well as the Personal Interview round. The selection process will be for admission to the MBA/PGPM programme at the 9 IBS campuses in February 2025.

As the IBS Introduces Micro Presentation in Selection Process of IBSAT, candidates must take note of the details regarding the process. The micro-presentation round has been introduced to assess the candidate's communication and presentation skills, along with their ability to think and organize thoughts quickly. Here are some pointers regarding the new round:
- This round will be an individual excercise, unlike group discussion. During the presentation, only the candidate will speak and they will not be posed any questions afterwards.
- The micro-presentation round will have a weightage of 25 marks, same as that of the Personal Interview round.
- Candidates will be given 1 minute to prepare and then deliver a 3-minute presentation.
- For the topic selection, candidates will choose a number between 1 and 100, each of which will correspond to a topic. The topics will be randomised after each selection.
- As for flexibility, candidates will be give the option to chose 2 topics, of which they can choose either.
Evaluation Parameters for Micro Presentation Round
The assesment of the candidates in the Micro Presentation Round will be on the following factors:
- Ability to think quickly and organize thoughts effectively.
- Presentation of information clearly and concisely within the 3-minute time limit.
- Demonstrate of Communication skills, Logical reasoning, Relevance to the topic, Body language and Confidence.
