How to Calculate Your CUET 2024 Score?

Candidates are confused after the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) has revamped its scoring system. According to the officials, the new scoring pattern introduces a percentile method, promising a transparent and comprehensive evaluation process. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to calculate your CUET 2024 Score.

1. Download your CUET Response Sheet and Answer Key 2024 to cross-check your response with correct answers.
2. Review your response sheet and tally the correct and incorrect responses.
3. Refer to the marking scheme of the CUET Exam 2024. Candidates will get one mark for every correct answer and lose ¼ marks for every wrong answer. There is no addition or deduction on no response. 
4. Calculate the raw scores using the given formula.
5. Raw Score = (Number of Correct Answers×Marks for Correct Answer)−(Number of Incorrect Answers×Penalty for Incorrect Answer).
6. Candidates can normalise the scores if needed. 
7. After normalisation (only if applicable), candidates will get their CUET 2024 Score. 

For normalization of score candidates first need to convert their raw data into percentile.  Percentile score = 100*No. of candidates who appeared from the session with raw score Equal to or Less than T score/ Total Number of candidates who appeared in the session. After this candidates will be required to arrange the CUET percentiles in a descending order and calculate the marks of the students using linear interpolation.
