NEET 2024: The National Testing Agency concluded the NEET Exam 2024, yesterday, May 5, 2024, in 557 cities across India and 14 places abroad. The exam took place from 2 PM to 5:20 PM, and the results are expected to be out on Jun 14, 2024.
As per the reports, NEET 2024 has recorded the highest number of registrations, and once the NEET Results 2024 are out, the number of students who appeared in the NEET Exam 2024 will be clear.

Number of Students Appeared for NEET 2024
As per the media reports, around 23,81,833 had registered for the NEET Exam 2024, out of which female candidates have outnumbered the male candidates with 13,63,216 registrations.
Among the states, Uttar Pradesh leads the race with the highest number of registrations 3,39,125 applicants, followed by Maharashtra with around 2,79,104 registrations for NEET 2024.

Admission to government and private medical colleges takes place through NEET Exams. After passing the NEET 2024 exam, candidates can get admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, and other undergraduate medical courses in various medical colleges in the country. Karnataka tops the list with 11745 seats in 70 medical colleges followed by Tamil Nadu with 11650 seats in 74 medical colleges.
