GATE 2026 Registration: The Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, has postponed the registration date for Graduate Aptitute Test for Engineering. As per the revised schedule, candidates can register for GATE from August 28, 2025, onwards; earlier, it was supposed to begin on August 25, 2025. For registration, candidates are required to apply at the GOAPS portal by providing basic details.

Before applying, we suggest aspirants create a valid email ID and provide a functional phone number, as any future communication will be conducted by registered IDs. As per the registration fee structure, reserved candidates, along with female candidates, are required to pay INR 1,000, while the other categories need to pay Rs 2,000. Guidelines Regarding GATE 2026 Registration Process

We have offered some important guidelines that candidates can note concerning GATE registration process 2026 here:

Candidates have to register by providing their name, email address, mobile number, and choosing a password.
Once registered, the applicants cannot change their email address or phone number.
During the application process, candidates should provide correct information pertaining to their educational qualifications, GATE test paper, exam city, and others.
The image and signature should be uploaded in the proper format; otherwise, the application will not move forward for verification.
Submission of an application does not guarantee eligibility to participate in the examination.

Interested candidates are requested to carefully review the eligibility parameters before registering for GATE 2026. The application should be submitted by September 28 to avoid paying a late fee.
