GATE 2025 COAP Counselling Dates: With the publication of the Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering Result 2025 on March 19, 2025, the counselling schedule has been announced. Candidates securing the required qualifying cutoff based on their category can check the dates of counselling rounds to make necessary preparations accordingly. IISc Bangalore will administer the COAP counselling from May 13, 2025, onwards. Candidates seeking MTech admissions at various IITs can participate in the counselling rounds and freeze the options based on their preference to confirm admission.

As GATE 2025 COAP counselling dates have been released, candidates are advised to go through the key details mentioned below:

IISc Bangalore will conduct COAP counselling only for students interested to take admission in IITs. for NIT aspirants, CCMT counselling will be held.
During the counselling process, candidates have to accept or freeze the options. Those accepting the offer can further move ahead in teh MTech admission process.
For counselling, candidates must submit important documents such as photo identification proof, BTech marks sheets, GATE scorecards, and other essential documents.
For MTech admission, candidates have to also apply to respective institutes besides registering at the COAP portal.

Candidates must understand that accepting seats during GATE 2025 COAP counselling 2025 won’t guarantee admission as each participating institute follows varied admission norms.
