According to the IIT JAM 2024 exam pattern, the IIT JAM Chemistry Syllabus 2024 is divided into 3 sections. Section 1 is Physical Chemistry, Section 2 is Organic Chemistry, and Section 3 is Inorganic Chemistry. IIT JAM 2024 Chemistry question paper will be divided into 3 sections with a different number of questions and marking scheme.

Section A of the Chemistry question paper will contain 30 Multiple-Choice Questions of which 20 questions are for 2 marks each and 10 questions are for 1 mark each. Section B will contain questions of 2 marks each. Section C contains 20 numerical answer type in which 10 questions carry 2 marks and another 10 questions carry 1 mark.
