CSIR NET December Registration 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has commenced registration for  NET December 2025. Candidates who wish to appear for the CSIR NET December exam, scheduled for December 18, 2025, can now complete the CSIR NET December Registration 2025 by visiting the official website at csirnet.nta.nic.in The authorities have activated the registration window for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET).

The last date for CSIR NET December Registration 2025 is October 24, 2025. To be eligible to appear for the exam, candidates must complete the registration and application form, upload the documents, and pay the fees before the due date. The last date to complete the fee payment is October 25, 2025, till 11:50 PM. Candidates will be able to make corrections in their application form from October 27 to 29, 2025, till 11:50 PM.

Steps to Complete CSIR NET December Registration 2025

Candidates can follow these steps to complete the registration and submission of the application form before the deadline expires.

• Visit the official website - csirnet.nta.nic.in
• Scroll down to the candidate activity board and click on the “Registration for Joint CSIR UGC-NET 2025” Link.
• The registration window will open in a new tab. 
• Click on the new registration tab. 
• Read the details, tick the check box, and click the proceed tab.
• The CSIR UGC-NET 2025 Registration Form will appear on the screen.
• Fill in the personal details, like name, address, and communication details. 
• Enter the captcha and click the submit tab to complete the CSIR NET December Registration 2025.
• Candidates will receive their application number. 
• Use the application number to log in and create a password for further logins. 
• Registered candidates will then proceed to complete the CSIR NET December Application Form 2025.
• Upload the document in the required format only. 
• Pay the examination fee online (General - Rs 1150, General EWS, OBC-NCL (Central-List) - Rs 600, SC/ST/Third Gender/PwD/PwBD - Rs 325).
• Download the fee payment receipt.
• Review all the details and submit the application form. 
• Candidates must download the confirmation page for future references.

Only registered candidates will be allowed to appear for the CSIR NET December 2025 Exam. It will be conducted in two shifts - Shift 1 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and shift 2 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, on December 18, 2025. Candidates who clear the exam will be eligible for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship (LS), assistant professor, or admission to PhD programmes in Indian universities and colleges.
