CLAT 2026 Seat Allotment Round 2: The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) released the CLAT 2026 Second Provisional Allotment List at 10:00 AM. The authorities will declare the CLAT 2026 Seat Allotment Round 2 on the official website - consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Candidates allotted seats in round 2 must act immediately to pay the seat confirmation fees. According to the schedule, the window to pay the seat confirmation fee will be active for exactly one week, i.e., from January 22 to January 29, 2026 (1:00 PM).

In the first seat allotment round, the institutes set a high benchmark for competition. Despite having the closing ranks of 101 by NLSIU Bengaluru and 148 by NALSAR Hyderabad, the top-tier NLUs saw their seats fill up rapidly.

As a result, top-ranked law schools are unlikely to see many changes in their seat lists during the second round. However, mid-level or newer NLUs are expected to show a major change in the Cutoff. With the release of CLAT 2026 Seat Allotment Round 2, candidates will have three primary options: FREEZE, FLOAT, and EXIT.
