CLAT 2024 Round 1 Seat Allotment Last Date to Pay Acceptance Fee: 2nd List on Jan 8
The last day to pay the CLAT 2024 Round 1 Seat Allotment Acceptance Fee is today. Candidates must complete the seat confirmation process at the earliest.
CLAT 2024 Round 1 Seat Allotment Acceptance Fee: The Consortium of NLUs will close the window to pay the CLAT Round 1 Counselling 2023 Seat Acceptance fee. Candidates who were allotted a seat in the CLAT 2023 Round 1 Seat Allotment must choose to freeze/float their seat and pay the seat acceptance fee by today. Moreover, the admission process by the NLUs will also be completed by today.
The CLAT Round 1 Seat Allotment Result 2023 was released on Dec 26. The candidates were allotted their seats based on their merit, their NLU preferences, and the categories they belong to. The candidates are required to pay the non-refundable Confirmation Fee of INR 20,000 and then proceed to select among 'Freeze' or 'Float' options. Furthermore, the candidates can also choose to exit from the CLAT counseling 2023 process.

What Happens if a Candidate Does Not Pay CLAT 2024 Round 1 Seat Allotment Acceptance Fee?
In case a candidate fails to pay the CLAT 2024 Round 1 Seat Allotment Acceptance Fee before the deadline and make their choice among the available options, it will be considered that the candidate is "Not interested." This will result in the following actions being taken:
- The applicant's candidature will be cancelled.
- Any seat allotted to them will be revoked, and they will lose the currently allotted seat.
- The candidate's name will be removed from the Admissions Counselling Process.
- They will not be considered in the subsequent rounds of counselling.
Further, the CLAT 2nd Seat Allotment Result 2024 will be released on Jan 8. The CLAT Counselling 2024 Seat Allotment for Round 2 will be conducted for eligible candidates who were not allotted a seat in Round 1 or had selected the "Float" option against the allotted seat.
