CBSE Admit Card 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon release the admit cards for the CBSE Classes 10th and 12th Examinations 2026. The CBSE board exams 2026 will begin on February 17, 2026.
According to the revised CBSE datesheet 2026, the Class 10 exam, originally scheduled for March 3, 2026, will now be held on March 11, 2026. Additionally, the Class 12 Legal Studies exam has been postponed from March 3, 2026, to April 10, 2026, due to administrative reasons.
This Year, the APAAR ID (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry) has become mandatory to download the CBSE Admit Card 2026. APAAR ID is a 12-digit unique ID used for student identification and ensuring data accuracy. - Verification Purpose: APAAR ID links student data to a central registry. This will eliminate errors caused by school authorities while recording student data.
- Prevention of Duplication: APAAR ID helps to identify fake certificates or credentials and prevents duplicate student registrations.
- Data Accuracy: By linking the APAAR ID to the CBSE 2026 hall ticket, results and marksheets are automatically linked into the student's DigiLocker and the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC).
- Student Identification: APAAR ID will serve as primary identifier for board exams and future entrance tests like JEE and NEET. This will help in student identification and prevent the risk of impersonation.
Students can create or fetch their ID by logging into DigiLocker and searching for the "Academic Bank of Credits" section. Students are advised to contact their respective school authorities for more information.
