CBSE 2026 Important Instructions: The Central Board of Secondary Education has notified regarding new updates in the examination pattern of class 10 science and social science papers. Class 10 board exams wil begin on February 17, 2026, and the new rules set by the board will be applicable. As per the new guidelines updated by CBSE, from now onwards, there will be sectional divisions in class 10 science and social science question papers.
The introduction of sectional divisions is expected to improve the evaluation standard. In view of new changes, sample papers will be related, which will reflect the sectional divisions to help students prepare for the exam accordingly. Students aspiring to appear for class 10 board examinations next year can check the detailed instructions drafted by CBSE 2026 for class 10 science and social science question papers here:
- In social science, there will be four sections, while science question papers will comprise three sections.
- The answers to the question should be written within the specified space only.
- It should be noted that answers to questions per section should not be mixed with other sections.
