CAT Result 2024: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta will announce the Common Admission Test (CAT) result soon. Once released, the direct link to check the result will be added here. Candidates will be able to check the CAT Result 2024 at the official website: iimcat.ac.in soon. Further, the candidates can download their CAT Scorecard 2024 by logging in. The CAT exam was conducted on November 24 for the 2024 session across 389 exam centres. The conducting body is expected to release the result around two weeks after the exam.

To access the result, candidates will have to enter their registration number and password to access the scorecard. Candidates are advised to keep their CAT Admit Card 2024 handy before the announcement of the results.
Out of the 3.29 lakh candidates that had registered for the exam, out which 2.93 lakh candidates attended the exam on November 24. The overall attendance percentage for this year's exam was 89%. The CAT Toppers 2024 will also be announced along with the results.

How to Download CAT Result 2024?
The steps to check the CAT Result 2024 are given below:
- Visit the official website of the IIM CAT 2024
- Click on the link for the result at the official website
- Enter the candidate's CAT credentials to login
- Once logged, the candidate's scorecard will appear on the screen
- Download the scorecard and take a printout.
As per candidate reviews, this year's CAT exam was easier compared to the previous years. Hence, the cutoffs for the various institutes are expected to be higher this year. The admission process to the various courses at the IIMs will start soon after the release of the results. The CAT Cutoff 2024 for the various IIMs will be available in due course of time.

CAT Result 2024: Shortlisting Criteria for IIM Bangalore
The IIM Bangalore CAT 2024 Shortlisting Criteria are listed below.
Students will first be selected for the PI and WAT rounds.
Scores from the 12th board will carry 10%.
10% will be applied to 10th board scores.
Graduation grades will be worth ten percent.
Gender diversity will determine a 5% score.
The composite scores for CAT 2024 will account for 55% of the weight.
10% will go towards a student's professional training or work experience, whichever is greater.
