The Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning is an important topic for the CAT exam, and therefore, candidates do not leave any stone unturned while preparing for this section. Here are some tips to follow to score well in the Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning sections:
- Try to practice traditional DILR sets as much as possible.
- Make sure to solve at least 3 sets of DI to achieve 99 percentile.
- Pie charts and tables are compulsory.
- Operation-based questions are a must.
- Make sure to practice transportation questions.
- Practice solving questions with a multi-table, such as a pie chart and bar diagram combined.
- Although mean, median, and mode are not very important topics, it is still recommended to keep this topic in practice.
- Don’t skip the mock test available on the official website.
Based on the previous year’s trends, the CAT 2025 Exam difficulty level has dropped. However, candidates were only able to score 97 percentile even after attempting two DI questions.
