CAT 2024 IIM ABC Selection Process: Candidates who appeared for the Common Admission Test (CAT) on November 24, 2024, in any of the three slots will be qualified for admission if they qualify based on the shortlisting criteria. Candidates can check the CAT 2024 IIM ABC Selection Process below.

It is important to meet the minimum sectional and overall CAT cut-off for IIM Bangalore for the candidates to be considered eligible for future rounds of selection. The qualifying criteria for IIM A, B, and C is 85 and the final cutoff is 98+ for the general category candidates. The ST, SC, PwD, and other candidates can expect calls for admission with lower percentile also.
The Calculation of Composite (CAT Scores + Profile) is done after filtering out the candidates who do not meet the minimum cut-offs. The conducting authorities evaluate them based on their CAT 2024 performance as well as their profiles.
After that, a candidate's composite score is calculated to shortlist them for the Academic Writing Test and Personal Interview round.
Subsequently, the authorities conduct two rounds to shortlist for the AWT-PI round. In Round 1, the top 5% from each of the academic categories (AC) are shortlisted based on their composite scores. In Round 2, an additional number of candidates will be shortlisted for AWT & PI based on the composite score as they need to meet the minimum cut-off set by the officials for the average of your 10th and 12th marks.
Finally, IIMs A, B, and C will generate a new composite score based on the candidate's performance to make the final decision.

Candidates calculate the Compose score by the formula: CS = ARF_CS* Normalised AR Score+ CATF_CS* Normalised overall score in CAT. For the composite score, the application rating multiplication factor (ARF_CS) = 0.35. In addition, for the composite score, the CAT multiplication factor (CATF_CS) is 0.65.
