Assam NEET UG Round 1 Counselling Dates 2025: The Directorate of Medical Education, Assam, has shared the counselling schedule for NEET UG Round 1 counselling on its official website. As per the schedule, candidates who have qualified National Eligibility cum Eligibility Entrance Test can register at the online portal from July 24, 2025, onwards. Around 85% of the seats will be filled for the Assam candidates through the counselling process, while remaining 15% will be filled through AIQ.
Registered candidates can proceed to choice filling between July 30 and August 2, 2025. Based on NEET score, seat matrix, and filled preferences, allocation of seats will be done. We have provided a complete schedule for Assam NEET UG Round 1 counselling 2025 here.

Eligibility Criteria for Assam NEET UG Round 1 Counselling 2025
Aspirants should comply with the eligibility conditions determined by DME, Assam; otherwise application will be rejected. We have listed eligibility criteria that candidates should fulfil to participate in Assam NEET UG counselling 2025:
- The participants should have qualified NEET UG 2025 with required cutoff as per their category.
- The candidates should have completed their 10+2 with a minimum 60%.
- It is mandatory that the students should have physics, chemistry, and biology/biotechnology as main subjects in their 10+2.
- As per eligibility condition, only permanent residents of Assam can take part in the counselling process.
- Students who have secured 1st and 2nd ranks in their current HSSLC examination are eligible to register for NEET UG counselling.
