- The candidates must have completed solving as many previous year question papers and mock tests to be well prepared for the exam. This will get them accustomed to the exam pattern and time management.
- Have a well-planned exam-taking strategy ready. The planning is on which type of questions to attend first, how much time to spend per question, and which questions to attend towards the end of the exam. A good strategy will improve the candidate's performance in the exam.
- During the last day before the exam, candidates must revise the syllabus and the topics to firm up their memory and understanding. One should not attempt to cover every topic through and through; instead, one should only try to cover the main points from every chapter. Most importantly, candidates should not try to start entirely new topics this close to the exam as this can cause unnecessary stress.
- Another aspect of being well-prepared for the exam is to be well-rested before the exam. Candidates should not try to pull off all-nighters on the eve of the exam as it may leave them sleep-deprived during the exam. Moreover, candidates should try to eat healthily as much as possible. They may also partake in relaxing activities such as meditation or listening to music, as the case may be.
