What is CRL in JEE Main 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the JEE Main 2024 Result for the Session 2 Paper 1 (BE/BTech) yesterday, Apr 24. Further, candidates may be interested to know what is CRL in JEE Main 2024. The full form of the CRL is Common Rank List. It is the rank list that contains all the names and ranks of all the students who had qualified for the exam. The CRL will contain the ranks of the candidates that is calculated on the basis of their marks among all the test takers and will be irrespective of the category they belong to.

What is CRL in JEE Main 2024: Difference Between CRL Rank vs AIR
In addition to knowing What is CRL in JEE Main 2024, candidates may be interested to know what are the differences between the CRL Rank vs AIR (All India Rank). It is to be noted that, the CRL Rank is actually the same as the AIR. The AIR provides a universal reference point for assessing performance of the candidates among all the examinees.
However, the NTA will also release a category-wise rank list for all categories separately. The OBC Rank List, SC Rank List, and ST-PwD Rank List etc with contain the ranks of the candidates who have claimed reservation under the category. The ranks in these lists will be different from the CRL Rank and most likely will be higher that the CRL rank.
Further, during the JoSAA Counselling 2024, candidates who will be applying for the various institutes must fill out their choices based on their CRL Rank as well as their category-list rank.
