WBJEE Result 2025: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) successfully held the WBJEE 2025 Examination on April 27, 2025. Following the trend of the previous year, the WBJEE 2025 result is expected to be out anytime soon. Candidates who appeared for the WBJEE 2025 examination can check their results by using their application number and date of birth. The important instructions related to WBJEE 2025 Result are listed below.
- Candidates must keep their appliucation number and date of birth details ready while checking the WBJEE 2025 Result.
- The WBJEE Result 2025 will be announced in the form of a Rank Card. This Rank Card will contain all details like candidate's total score, individual scores for Paper I (Mathematics) and Paper II (Physics & Chemistry), and their respective ranks. WBJEEB will not publish any separate rank list.
- Candidates are instructed to keep the scorecard of the WBJEE result 2025 until the completion of the admission procedure.
- If one fails to download scorecards within the given timeline, they will have to pay additional charges to get the scorecard/ rank card.
- The WBJEE 2025 merit list will be released along with the WBJEE results. The shortlisted candidates will be called for the WBJEE 2025 counselling process.

WBJEE Result 2025: Tie-Breaking Criteria
When two or more candidates secure the same marks, authorities follow the WBJEE 2025 tie-breaking procedure which allows them to come up with someone with an edge over the other. Details of the WBJEE tie-breaking procedure is below.
- Candidates who have collectively gotten lesser Negative Marks will be given the edge over the other.
- If both the candidates are still in a tie, the candidate with more positive marks in Mathematics & Physics will be given the higher rank.
- Otherwise, the candidate with more positive marks in Mathematics & Chemistry will be given the higher position.
- If the tie remains, the candidate with fewer Negative Marks in Mathematics & Physics will be given the higher rank.
- Candidates with fewer Negative Marks in Mathematics & Chemistry will be given an edge over.
- If the tie persists, candidates with more positive marks in Mathematics (for only 2 marks questions) will be allotted a higher rank.
- If the tie still exists, candidates with more positive marks in Physics (for only 2 marks questions) will be given an edge.
- If the authorities are still unable to break the tie, candidates with more positive marks in Chemistry (for only 2 marks questions) will be considered at the top.
- After all the above steps fail to break the tie, the candidate's age will be considered a tie-breaker, and the older candidate will be given the preference for admission with WBJEE 2025.
