WBJEE Result 2025: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Council has published the much-awaited Joint Entrance Exam result on its official website today, August 22, 2025. The authorities have shared a direct download link that candidates can click and provide the required credentials to download the result. The result is released in the form of a rank card, comprising subject-wise scores and merit ranks. A printout of the rank card must be obtained after downloading, as WBJEEC will not send any hard copy of the result via post.

Tie-Breaking Rules in WBJEE Result 2025

In cases when two or more candidates have scored the same marks, a tie-breaking policy is adopted so taht any prejudices from evaluation procedures can be eliminated. 

• Those securing fewer collective negative marks in PCM will secure a high rank.
• If the tie exists, students with top scores in math and chemistry will be considered.
• If the tie persists, candidates with fewer negative marks in math and physics will be given higher preference.
• If ties persist, candidates with fewer negative marks in mathematics and chemistry will be assigned a high rank.
• If a tie exists, those with the maximum number of correct answers in any PCM 2 mark question will be given preference.
