WBJEE Exam 2025 Dress Code Dos and Donts for Exam Day: West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board has released exam guidelines and dress code rules brochure on their website. Candidates appearing for the entrance on April 27, 2025, should strictly follow the guidelines set by the board to maintain the sanctity of the exam. As per WBJEE dress code, both male and female candidates should wear decent formal clothes on the exam day. Any flashy embroidered dresses or clothes with metallic elements should be avoided as they can interfere with the frisking process.
Candidates can wear only simple and comfortable clothes for the entrance examination. As per the guidelines, an admit card and an identification card need to be carried to the exam center for verification; otherwise, entry willn’t be allowed.

Dos for Dress Code:
- Female candidates can wear decent kurtis with less print and embroidery.
- For the male candidates, wearing t-shirts, shirts, and pants with fewer pockets is allowed.
- Candidates are advised to wear light coloured dresses.
- It is suggested to wear normal slippers to the exam centre.
Donts for Dress Code:
- It is better not to wear palazzos or cargo pants at the exam centre.
- Male candidates must abstain from wearing shirt pants with inner pockets
- No closed boots or shoes will be allowed.
