WBJEE 2025 Seat Matrix for Round 1: The seat matrix has been released for West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Round 1 counselling today, August 27, 2025. Candidates who have secured a qualifying score in the engineering entrance examination can check the college-wise seat availability to assess their admission chances. With the declaration of the seat matrix, the authority will commence the counselling registration from August 28, 2025, onwards.
By referring to the seat matrix, candidates can choose college preferences for choice filling. The seat matrix will display the course-wise seats available at various colleges. What Processes follow after the Release of the WBJEE Seat Matrix 2025?
Candidates can review the process that follows after checking the WBJEE 2025 Round 1 seat matrix below:
- Registration: Candidates are required to log in to the portal using their user ID and password. For registration, it is mandatory to pay a fee of Rs 750 using the online payment gateway.
- Choice Filling: Candidates should select from the given list of colleges according to their preference. After choosing a preference, it must be locked to be considered for set allocation.
- Seat Allotment: Candidates will be allotted seats based on the seat matrix, filled choices, and entrance exam rank. To accept a seat, candidates must pay a fee of Rs 5,000 and report to the college for document verification.
It must be noted that allotment will be provisional and subject to successful document verification. If any document is inaccurate or false, admission will be cancelled.
