The following candidates will be eligible to take part in the counselling mop-up round:

• Students who have secured seats in the previous round and paid the seat acceptance fees but have not taken admission.
• Students who have not secured seats in any of the previous rounds.
• Those students who have not registered in the previous rounds.
• Students who have exited from the counselling round previously.

The WBJEE third and final round in the counselling process is the mop-up round conducted to fill up any vacant seats.

After paying the seat acceptance fee, candidates must report to the allotted college with all the documents for verification purposes.

The online counselling registration fee is Rs 500. Candidates will be required to pay the online counseling registration fee through available payment gateways.

Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria and secure WBJEE Rank/JEE Rank will be eligible for WBJEE 2025 Counselling.

The candidates must keep the following documents ready for counselling round:

After the WBJEE Result 2025 is released, candidates must download and keep multiple copies of it for future needs.

The competent authorities for issuance of EWS certificates for WB Domicile candidates are:

• District Magistrate/ Additional District Magistrate
• Sub-Divisional Officers
• District Welfare Officer, Kolkata and Ex-officio JD, BCW & TD in respect of Kolkata covering the jurisdiction of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation.

For WB Domicile candidates claiming under reserved seats category, the Competent Authorities for the issuance of OBC-A (NCL) / OBC-B (NCL) Certificate are:

• Sub-Divisional Officers for all districts except Kolkata.
• District Welfare Officer, Kolkata & Ex-Officio Joint Director, B.C.W. Dept. in case of
• Kolkata Municipal Area [as defined in clause (9) of Section 2 of K.M.C Act, 1980].

Reservation of Seats will be available for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PwD/TFW/EWS category of candidates as per applicable rules set. Candidates claiming reservation must submit relevant certificates to the allotted institute during the counselling process.

Following are the requirements for Residential/Domicile Criteria:

• Candidates must be a domicile of West Bengal for admission to
•  any Government-aided Engineering/ Technology / Pharmacy Colleges, 90% seats in Jadhavpur University, abd for admission to Aliah University 
• The candidate must download the required proforma as per the details given in
• section 3.4.1 and keep the certificate ready for the counselling and admission.

If the candidates provide incorrect information or are unable to provide valid documents during document verification it will lead to ineligibility for seats/courses allotted.

Here are the admission criteria for admission into Jadhavpur University in the Architecture department.

• Candidates must pass the Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination in the science stream in the regular class mode of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination from a recognized Council/Board.
• Minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 50% marks in aggregate of the (10+2) Examination (37% for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PwD candidates).
• Candidates must qualify for NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture), conducted by the Council of Architecture (COA), New Delhi. The Results of the above examination should be valid.

Here are the criteria for admission to Jadhavpur University in the engineering department.

• Candidates must pass the Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination in the science stream in the regular class mode of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination from a recognized Council/Board.
• Candidates must have scored individual pass marks (both in theory & practical/project wherever applicable) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
• Minimum of 60% marks in the above subjects taken together (45% for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PwD candidates) having 60% marks in Mathematics (45% for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PwD candidates) as well as passing marks in English with a minimum mark 30% (for all category of candidates) in the said qualifying examination.

Even after considering all the tie-breaking methodology the tie still continues, then the older candidate will be given preference over the younger ones.

Here is the tie-breaking methodology that will be followed if the tie continues to follow for determining merit rank:

• The candidate with less negative marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry taken together will be given priority.
• The students with more positive marks in Mathematics and Physics taken together will be given priority.
• The candidates with more positive marks in Mathematics and Chemistry taken together will be prioritized.
• Priority will be given to candidates with less negative marks in Mathematics and Physics taken together.
• The candidates with less negative marks in Mathematics and Chemistry taken together will be prioritized.
• The candidate with more positive marks in Mathematics for only the 2 (two) marks questions will be given priority.
• The candidate with more positive marks in Physics for only the 2 marks questions will be given the rank.
• Candidates with more positive marks in Chemistry for only the 2 marks questions will be given priority.
• The students with less negative marks in Mathematics for only the 2 marks questions will be prioritized.
• The candidate with less negative marks in Physics for only the 2 marks questions will be considered.
• The candidate with less negative marks in Chemistry for only the 2 marks questions will be considered.

Category Ranks reflected in the rank card is only there to provide information about category-wise rank achieved. Counselling/allotment/ and admission will be based only on GMR.

Candidates must note that admissions to all Engineering / Technology / Architecture Courses and the Pharmacy Course at Jadavpur University will be based only on GMR.

Based on the paper appeared and marks scored, the authorities will release two merit lists:

• General Merit List - Based on total scores obtained in Paper - I and Paper - II
• Pharmacy Rank List - Based on the scores of Paper  - II only (Physics and Chemistry).

The WBJEE Merit Rank will be prepared based on the candidates’s score in the Common Entrance Test.

Such candidates who have only appeared for Paper - II are eligible for PMR (Pharmacy Medical Rank). Such candidates will be considered for admission to Pharmacy courses.

Only those candidates who have appeared for both Paper - I and Paper - II are eligible for GMR (General Merit Rank).

The candidates will have to enter their college preferences with their desired course. In fact, the candidates will also be allowed to edit their WBJEE 2025 Web Options Entry within a timeline.
