Candidates who are selected after the UPSC CSE Result 2023 will be called for training for their service of choice - four posts – Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’. The candidates will fill the 1,105 vacancies that are available.

The UPSC CSE Prelims Exam 2023 was conducted on May 28 and the UPSC CSE Mains Exam 2023 was held from Sept 15 to 24. Result for the Mains exam was released on Dec 3. Aspirants who cleared the UPSC CSE Mains Result 2023 were invited to the final personality test/interview round, which took place in stages between Jan 2 and Apr 9, 2024. Selection to the subsequent Interview round will be based on the UPSC CSE Mains Cutoff 2023 that will announced along with the result.
