UGC NET Exam Cutoff 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to commence the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test 2024 tomorrow, Jun 18, 2024. Criteria to Calculate UGC NET Exam Cutoff 2024
Candidates can check the below-mentioned details to get an understanding of the calculation process for the UGC NET 2024 Cutoff:
- The Government of India's reservation policy is followed in allocating the total number of slots available for granting JRFs to the various categories.
- Six percent of the applicants who took the test in both of its papers qualified for the UGC NET.
- Applicants from various categories are given a total number of seats based on the Government of India's quota policy.
- Out of all the eligible applicants found in Step IV, all of the individuals who applied for both JRF and Assistant Professor will be given consideration for JRF.
- According to the UGC NET Exam Cutoff 2024 calculation criteria, candidates must receive the following minimal scores in order to be eligible for an assistant professor position and/or a JRF award:
General: 40% overall on the two papers combined.
OBC-NCL/PwD/Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST): 30% of the total points for the two papers combined.
