TS TET 2025 Paper 2 Eligibility Criteria: Know Who is Eligible to Appear

TS TET 2025 Paper 2 Eligibility Criteria: The Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET) 2025 Paper 2 is set to be conducted by the Department of School Education, Hyderabad. The examination is aimed at assessing the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions in upper primary classes (VI to VIII). Regarding the eligibility criteria for all aspirants, the authority has released a detailed information brochure about the TS TET Paper 2 Eligibility Criteria 2025.

TS TET 2025 Paper 2 Eligibility Criteria

Check the complete TS TET Paper 2 Eligibility Criteria 2025 according to the official notice. 

1. Bachelor's Degree (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com.) with high marks: Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum score of 50%. However, for candidates from SC/ST/BC or with disabilities, the minimum score is 45%. Additionally, they must have a completed Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or B.Ed. (Special Education).
2. B.Ed. Qualification Exception: If candidates completed their B.Ed. before December 23rd, 2015, the minimum score requirement for a Bachelor's degree is slightly lower. For general candidates, it's still 50%, but for SC/ST/BC or disabled candidates, it's only 40%. They still must have a B.Ed. or B.Ed. (Special Education).
3. 4-year Bachelor's Degree in Education: Candidates can qualify with a 4-year Bachelor's degree specifically in Education (B.A.Ed or B.Sc.Ed.). The minimum score requirement is 50%, but again, for SC/ST/BC or disabled candidates, it's 45%.
4. Language Teachers: If one is applying for a Language Teacher position, he/she can qualify in several ways:

• A Bachelor's degree with the relevant language as an optional subject.
• A Bachelor of Oriental Language (or equivalent) in any language.
• A Bachelor's degree in Literature.
• A Master's degree in the relevant language. In all these cases, candidates must also have a Language Pandit Training Certificate or a B.Ed. with the relevant language as one of the methodologies they studied.

5. B.E./B.Tech. Degree: Candidates can qualify with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E. or B.Tech.) with a minimum score of 50%. The minimum score drops to 45% for SC/ST/BC or disabled candidates. They must also have a completed B.Ed. or B.Ed. (Special Education).
