Further, the candidates who are allotted a seat can proceed to the confirmation of the seat allotment between August 13 and 14. Following this, the provisional TNEA Round 2 Seat Allotment 2024 will be released for the "Accept and Join" candidates and the tentative seat allotment will be released for the ""Accept and Upward" candidates on August 15.

TNEA Round 2 Tentative Allotment 2024: What Next?
Once the TNEA Round 2 Tentative Seat Allotment 2024 has been released, candidates will have to follow the steps given below:
- Firstly, they must check the seat allotment result
- If the candidate has been allotted a seat, they can respond to it in one of the following ways:
- Accept and Join
- Accept and Upward
- Decline and Upward
- Decline and move to next round
- Decline and Quit
- Further, for those candidates who have chosen "Accept and Join", the provisional TNEA Seat Allotment 2024 letter will be released on August 15.
- The tentative allotment order for the "Accept and Upward" candidates will also be released on August 15.
- The candidates who had chosent the "Accept and Join" option will report at the allotted college from Augst 15 to 20 to complete the admission process.
- The "Accept and Upward" candidates will report at the TNEA Facilitation Centre from August 15 to 20 to pay the tuition fees and submit their original certificates for holding the current seat.
- Finally, the provisional allotment letter for the "Accept and Upward" candidates will be released on August 23. The tuition fees and surrendered their original certificates will be transferred to provisionally allotted college.
- If the candidate is not satisfied with the seat alloted after upward movement, they must report to the provisionally allotted college and get their original certificates in-person and 75% of fees paid at TFCs that will be refunded.
