TNEA 2025 Round 1 Choice Filling: The choice filling for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission has started today, July 14, 2025. Per reports, this year over 2.3 lakh candidates qualified for the choice filling for round 1 counselling. Candidates can fill in course and college preferences by logging in to the online portal. For the special categories, including ex-servicemen, sports, and others, choice filling was started on July 7, 2025.
According to the TNEA notification, candidates scoring aggregate marks ranging between 200 and 179, which is a rank of 1 to 39145, can only participate in the choice filling. During the choice filling process, candidates must carefully select colleges as it will determine their admission chances. How to Complete TNEA 2025 Choice Filling Process?
Eligible candidates are requested to fill in choices for TNEA 2025 roudn 1 counselling before the deadline. Discover the step-by-step process to successfully complete TNEA choice filling:
- Browse the official website of TNEA-tneaonline.org.
- Go to the login tab and click on it.
- Your screen will display a login window.
- Enter your email ID and password.
- Verify your application form and click on next button.
- Make the fee payment as per category.
- Once the fee is submitted, you can check the list of institutes.
- Add the institutes based on your order of preference.
Candidates must lock preferences after adding TNEA 2025 choice filling. After choosing college preferences, one must click on the send OTP option, and on clicking, an OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number or email address. Using the OTP, candidates have to click on the “lock my choice” button.
