SEED 2024 Exam To Be Held on Jan 14: Check Exam Pattern, Marking Scheme

SEED 2024 Exam: The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) will conduct the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design 2024 on Jan 14, 2024. Candidates who are interested in getting admission to fashion courses under SID must prepare for the design entrance test carefully.
The candidates must know the SEED 2024 Exam Pattern and the Marking Scheme of the design examination so that they can ace the exam.

SEED 2024 Exam Pattern
For the SEED Exam Pattern 2024 for written examination, the candidates will be assessed on topics such as art, craft, culture, design, and environment; visualisation, observational, perceptual, and reasoning skills; application of fundamental scientific and mathematical concepts; creative and problem-solving skills and ability, etc.
For the Portfolio Review Round, the candidates need to prepare their portfolio with a mix of pictures and articles, both in 2D and 3D. The portfolio for SEED must also include sketches for photography and illustrations in various styles and digital creations like 3D objects, artistic sculptures, and items with an artistic style.
After the SEED 2024 Exam for Portfolio Review has been completed, the candidates will be called in for Personal Interaction, where the candidates will be asked questions related to the portfolio they have submitted and the programme they are applying for.
SEED 2024 Exam: Marking Scheme
The candidates who are appearing for the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design 2024 can check the marking scheme for the written examination:
- For every correct answer in SEED 2024, candidates will be awarded 1 mark.
- There is no negative marking for any wrong answers in SEED.
It is advised that the candidates must try to answer all the questions in the written exam as there is no negative marking as per the SEED Exam Marking Scheme 2024.
