• Most districts of Maharashtra are under a yellow alert by IMD.
• Aurangabaad, Jalna, Parbhani, Hingoli, Washim, Yavatmal, Wardha, Nagpur, Bhandara, Latur, Osmanabad, and Gondia districts are likely to experience thunderstorms and lightning. 
• Ahmednagar, Beed, Buldhana, Akola, and Amravati regions are most likely to experience heavy rainfall on September 17, 2025.
