RBI Summer Internship 2026 Application Form: The Reserve Bank of India has invited students to apply for their prestigious Summer Internship Programme 2026. According to the official schedule, the RBI Summer Internship 2026 Application Form closes on December 15, 2025. Interested students must complete and submit the application form by visiting the official website - opportunities.rbi.org.in. 

It is a great opportunity for students to get first-hand experience of working with a national bank. The RBI Summer Internship will assist students to gain experience in real-world economic, financial, regulatory, and policy research environments. Students will learn and get guidance with world-class economists and finance specialists. 

The RBI internship is open to students pursuing their postgraduate degrees, integrated five-year courses, or professional bachelor’s degrees in disciplines such as Economics, Finance, Management, Statistics, Commerce, Banking, Econometrics, Law, and related fields. Only students who are in the penultimate year of their studies can apply for the RBI Summer Internship 2026.

Steps To Complete the RBI Summer Internship 2026 Application Form

Here are the instructions to complete and submit the RBI Summer Internship 2026 Application Form:

• Visit the official website - opportunities.rbi.org.in.
• Click on the Summer Placement tab.
• Click on the “online web-based application form” link.
• The RBI Summer Internship 2026 Application Form will open in a new tab.
• Fill out the institute details, bio-data, and educational qualifications.
• Upload the photograph, signature, and other documents.
• Preview the form and click the submit tab.

The RBI will shortlist the candidates and will conduct their interviews in January-February. Every year, around 125 interns are selected across India. The RBI will pay a monthly stipend of Rs 20,000 to the selected interns. The selected interns will contribute to real-time projects, research tasks, data analysis, departmental assistance, and document review under the expert supervision. According to the official notification, the internship will start in April 2026.
