Odisha ITI Admission 2024: Freeze, Float and Slide After First Selection List

Odisha ITI Admission 2024: The Department of Skill Dev & Tech Education, Odisha will release the Odisha ITI 1st Admission List 2024 today, Jun 28, at 2 PM. Candidates who are participating in the Odisha ITI Admission 2024 process will be able to check the 1st selection list and download the intimation letter from the applicant login after 2 PM today. Further, they will have to choose among the Freeze, Float and Slide options in response to the seat allotment, between Jun 8 and Jul 3. Following that they will also have to report at the allotted ITI for admission and correction of applications during the same window.

Candidates will have to choose among the 3 options after Odisha ITI Admission 2024 1st selection list as per the guidelines given below:

• A candidate who chooses the ‘Float’ option will be choosing to accept the allotted seat but wishes for a better programme.
• A candidate who selects the ‘Freeze’ option will be accepting the allotted seat and declaring that they do not want to participate in the subsequent rounds.
• A candidate who chooses the ‘Slide’ option will be choosing to accept the allotted seat but also saying that they want a different course in the same institute in which the previous programme was allotted. If a candidate chooses the slide option, they will be able to see the Float and Freeze options in further rounds of counselling.

The following points should also be noted:

• A candidate who has been allotted a seat in the first round must compulsorily accept that seat by opting for any of the 3 options and make the payment against the same.
• On choosing the 'Freeze' option, candidates will have to produce the required certificates for verification at the Destination HEI without fail.'
• The auto-slide-up process will take place in case they do not select the freeze option.
• At each round of the counselling process, it is essential that candidates select any one of these options to remain in the process of counselling. In case no option is selected, the previous option will continue till the final allotment round.

The Odisha ITI Admission 2024 2nd Selection List will be released on Jul 10.
