NTA SHRESHTA Exam 2026 Application Form: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to close the application form-filling process for the Scheme for Residential Education for Students in High Schools in Targeted Areas (SHRESHTA) 2026. According to the official schedule, the NTA SHRESHTA Exam 2026 Application Form window will close today, October 30, 2025. Students are instructed to complete and submit the form by 5:00 P.M. by visiting the official website - exams.nta.nic.in/shreshta/.
The NTA started the registration and application form-filling process for SHRESHTA 2026 on October 10, 2025. The SHRESHTA Exam 2026 is conducted to provide seats for the meritorious SC boys and girls in the best private residential schools in the country. Around 3000 students will be selected for admission in class 9 and class 11 under this scheme. After the application form submission the authorities will activate the edit window on November 1, 2025.

Candidates can follow these steps to complete the NTA SHRESHTA Exam 2026 Application before the due date:
- Visit the official website - exams.nta.nic.in/shreshta/.
- Scroll down to the candidate activity board.
- Click the Registration for SHRESHTA 2026 Examination Link.
- Click on the New Registration Link
- Click the check box and proceed to fill in the personal and contact details.
- Set the password and choose the security question.
- Click submit, and candidates will receive their application number.
- Log in again and proceed to fill out the application form.
- Candidates will be required to fill in their personal details, Aadhaar Card details, exam and centre details, qualification, and other additional details.
- Upload the scanned images of the photograph and signature in the prescribed format only.
- Review the details and submit the form.
- Download the confirmation page and fee submission receipt.
