New Exam Centres Added For JEE Main 2024: Exam to Be Held in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Dubai

JEE Main 2024: Based on the request made by the Indian Ambassador of Abu Dhabi, the Abu Dhabi officials have accepted to conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2024 in Abu Dhabi. Alongside, the JEE Main 2024 examination will also be held in Sharjah and Dubai.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) in its official notification stated "Based on the request of the Ambassador of India, Abu Dhabi to support the student community of Abu Dhabi, it has been decided to add Abu Dhabi as an Examination City for the JEE (Main) – 2024. Here it may be noted that the cities of Dubai and Sharjah are already examination Cities for the JEE Main 2024".

The JEE Main Registration 2024 is currently ongoing and it will conclude on Nov 30. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for JEE Main Examination 2024 at the official website- jeemain.nta.ac.in. 

With the conclusion of JEE Main 2024 registration, the JEE Main Exam City Intimation Slip 2024 will be released by the second week of January 2024. The JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Exam will be held from Jan 24 to Feb 1. The JEE Main Admit Card 2024 will be released 3 days before the the JEE Main 2024 exam date.

Furthermore, NTA has reduced the JEE Main Syllabus for the 2024 examination. NTA has nearly removed two chapters each from Physics and Mathematics sections, as well as around eight chapters from the Chemistry syllabus.
