The latest notification on the MCC's official website states that “Dear Candidates, Choice filling facility for Round 1 has been extended till Monday Dated (11.08.2025) at 11:59 PM.” The Round 1 of NEET UG Counselling provides a "Free Exit" option, allowing candidates to decline an allotted seat without losing their security deposit. However, for Round 2 and subsequent rounds, exiting from the counselling process will result in the loss of the security deposit. Likewise, candidates accepting a seat in the third round will not be eligible to resign or upgrade and will not be permitted to participate in further rounds.
