NEET UG Choice Filling 2024: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will close the window for choice filling for the NEET UG Round 1 Counselling at 11:59 PM today, August 21. Candidates who had completed the registration on or before yesterday, August 20, must proceed to complete the NEET UG 2024 choice filling process. The choice locking facility will be opened at 5 PM today. Candidates must submit their choices and once they are satisfied with it, lock their choices. Further, the seat allotment result will be processed based on the candidate's choices.

Candidates must note, the MCC has revised the deadline for the choice filling. As per the Counselling Schedule UG 2024 PDF posted on the official website, the deadline for the choice filling is 11:55 PM of August 20. However, if they check the "Latest News" section on the website, they will see that the choice filling will end by 11:59 PM on August 21.

Candidates can check important instructions to keep in mind during the NEET UG 2024 Web Option entry below:

The options should be entered in decreasing order of preference.
Candidates must enter as many options as they can so that their chances of securing a seat are better
They can refer to the seat matrix to check for the vacant seat data
Once the candidates have finalised the choices, they can choose to lock them after 5 PM today
If they do not manually lock the choices, it will be locked automatically at 11:59 PM today
Once the choices have been locked, it will not be possible to edit the choices.

The processing of the seat allotment result will take place after the closing of the choice filling window and the NEET UG Round 1 seat allotment 2024 result will be released on August 23.
