NEET UG 2025 Error in Syllabus: Today, December 17, 2024, the National Medical Commission (NMC) released the official syllabus for the medical entrance examination, that is,  National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2025. Soon after its release, many candidates and experts noticed a similar syllabus pattern as the NEET UG Syllabus 2024, and many mistakes have been repeated from the previous year's syllabus. NEET UG 2025 Error in Syllabus: NMC Repeats the Same Mistake as Last Year

After many candidates have spotted the NEET UG 2025 Error in Syllabus, it has sparked confusion and frustration among the candidates who are interested in appearing for the examination in the upcoming months. • No New/Deleted Topics: For the NEET UG 2025, NMC has not added or deleted any topics and is almost as similar to the 2024 syllabus.
• Mistake in the Biology Syllabus: NMC has repeated a previous error by listing the frog as an insect. This mistake was repeated in the previous year as well, which has now expressed concerns amognt the students. In the previous year, the authority had clarified that the frog was mistakenly added instead of the cockroach.
• Important Terms Missing in the Latest Version of NCERT: As per the official syllabus for the year 2025, "Diversity in the Living World (What is Living?)" is not included in the latest NCERT but appears in older versions.
• Out-of-Syllabus Topics Added: In the latest syllabus, topics like Protein Biosynthesis, Tobacco Abuse, Malvaceae, Cruciferae, Leguminoceae, Compositae, and Graminae have been added, which were previously out of the syllabus.

There have been several rumors from various media sources regarding the deletion of a few topics in the official syllabus for the NEET UG 2025. However, according, to the official syllabus PDF released by NMC, there are no changes whatsoever, and many mistakes from the 2024 syllabus have been repeated.
