NEET UG 2024 Exam Date: Tips From Previous Year Toppers
The candidates may be wondering How to Ace the NEET UG 2024. To help them, here are some tips from the NEET UG All India Toppers from previous years:
- Many of the toppers enrolled in coaching classes from as early as Class 9. However, the full time preparation for the exam generally starts from class 11.
- They have scored well in their board exams for class 10 and 11. They didn’t have to focus too much on the preparation for the board exams, as the NEET syllabus covers the topics for the Physics, Biology and Chemistry subjects. However, they have to prepare separately for the other subjects in the board exam.
- Students relied on their NCERT textbooks and the study material provided to them by the coaching centres.
- After having a solid foundation on the theory side, the students must prepare by practising solving the questions.
- Some of the material that are very helpful as reference are NCERT, AAKASH study packages, Physics: HC Verma, Physics Wallah and Chemistry: Unacademy videos
- Students must revise the topics in the months leading up to the examination. A practice by the toppers was to re-read the NCERT books and mark important points/ chapters on them.
- Practice Mock tests, especially in the months leading up to the NEET UG 2024 Exam Date. Try to solve at least one or two mock tests whenever possible.
- Although it advised that candidates make notes some can make do with highlighting on the textbook.
