NEET PG Counselling Dates 2024: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will announce the counselling dates and schedule for NEET PG 2024 on the official portal soon for candidates' reference. The authority is expected to begin in the NEET PG Counselling 2024 in the first week of September 2024. It must be noted that the candidates must complete the registration process first to participate in the seat allocation process for NEET PG 2024. Once the MCC releases NEET PG Counselling Dates 2024, candidates can check the schedule by visiting the official website- mcc.nic.in. 

The NEET PG 2024 Counselling process includes registration, choice filling, seat allocation, and reporting to the allocated college. Some important points are discussed here which candidates must keep in mind before the counselling starts and to take part in the counselling process:

• The Medical Counselling Committee conducts four rounds of counselling.
• The applicant has to have finished a required rotating internship.
• A valid MBBS degree or a provisional MBBS pass certificate is needed for the candidate to participate.
• Candidates must complete the registration process to participate in the seat allocation process.
• One should select and arrange his/her preferred courses and colleges in the order of preference.
• Seats will be assigned based on the NEET PG scores, NEET PG 2024 rank, and total number of seats available.
• 50% of All India Quota (AIQ) seats, including those at deemed and central universities, are overseen by the Medical Counselling Committee.
• Fifty per cent of the AIQ and state quota seats are managed by the state authority.
