NEET 2024 Exam to Be Held Today: Check Dress Code for Male, Female Candidates

NEET 2024 Exam: The National Testing Agency, NTA is all set to conduct the NEET 2024 Exam today, May 5, 2024. Students who have registered for the NEET 2024 exam must read the exam day instructions carefully and follow the proper dress code issued by the officials.

This year, NTA has issued a proper dress code for male and female students appearing for the NEET 2024 examination. Students who fail to follow the dress code will not be allowed to sit for the examination.

NEET Dress Code for Female Students

Female students can follow the dress code given below.

• Wear half-sleeved clothes and garments with long sleeves are not allowed.
• Choose light, plain attire, avoiding clothing with embroidery, pockets, flowers, brooches, and the like.
• Do not wear track pants, jeans, leggings, and skirts.
• Layering of clothes is strictly prohibited.
• Avoid wearing heels or closed shoes. Low heel footwear or sandals are advised.
• Avoid any form of jewellery, including earrings, nose rings, rings, bracelets, or pendants.

NEET Dress Code for Male 2024

Male students can follow the dress code mentioned below.

• Do not wear full-sleeve shirts or t-shirts as specified in the NEET dress code 2024.
• Choose half-sleeve t-shirts or shirts.
• Go for light and simple attire, avoiding clothing with pockets or embroidery.
• Trousers and pants are acceptable, while kurta pyjamas, track pants, and jeans should be avoided.
• Layering of clothing is not allowed.
• Closed footwear, including shoes, is not not allowed. It is recommended to wear sandals.
