NATA 2024 Syllabus Revised by CoA: Drawing Test Reintroduced
The CoA has modified the NATA 2024 Syllabus to include the drawing test.
NATA 2024 Syllabus: The Council of Architecture has reintroduced the Drawing Test in NATA 2024. The change in the NATA Exam Pattern 2024 has been mentioned in the brochure that the CoA released. The updated NATA 2024 Syllabus consists of two parts - Drawing and Composition Test and MCQs.

NATA 2024 Syllabus: Reintroduction of Drawing Test
The details of the Drawing and Composition Test that has been reintroduced in the NATA 2024 Syllabus are given below:
- The duration of this part of the exam will be one and a half hours (90 minutes)
- The exam will be conducted offline.
- The total marks in the test will be 80, and the candidate has to attempt three questions.
- The topics for the three questions that the candidates will have to attempt are given below:
- A1 - Composition and Color:
- The total marks will be 25 Marks.
- The questions will ask the candidates to create suitable compositions for various situations and color them appropriately.
- Candidates will also have to re-arrange various shapes visually appealingly and color them suitably.
- A2 -Sketching & Composition (Black and White)
- The total marks will be 25 Marks.
- Candidate's ability to draw, visualize, depict a situation involving buildings / its components, people, environment, products with an understanding of scale, proportions, textures, shades, and shadow, etc will be tested.
- A3 - 3D Composition
- Total marks will be 30
- Using the provided kit, create an interesting 3D composition for the given situation.
