Why was the MP NEET UG Allotment 2025 for Round 1 Cancelled?
As per a recommendation offered by the Dental Council of India on July 24, 2025, the Guru Gobind Singh College of Dental Sciences and Research Center was warned not to conduct admission for the BDS course. Per media reports, despite earlier opportunities to comply with specific requirements set by DCI, the college failed to satisfy the standards.
The MP government submitted its comments on the matter in April, and it was found to oppose the observations made by DCI. After reviewing the matter, the Centre planned to cancel the allotment, which included almost 100 BDS seats from the GGSCDSRC. The fresh allotment for Round 1 will be declared today, August 20, 2025, at 3 PM at the official website of DME MP. Candidates who have secured a seat as per the prior allotment result out on August 18 now have to wait for the revised allotment result. The Health Ministry strictly established that if any admission being conducted violates the order, the violator will be penalized under the Dentist Act, 1948.
