How Many Students Appeared for CAT 2023? The Common Admission Test (CAT) which was held yesterday, Nov 26, has been attended by approximately 3.3 lakh candidates which is 30 per cent more compared to previous year.
Out of the total 3.3 lakh candidates, 1.17 lakh, or 38 per cent, were female candidates. The IIMs constant initiatives to boost gender diversity in management education has resulted in a notable presence of female candidates, ranging from 30 per cent to 45 per cent, on their campuses.
Social media campaigns, increasing the number of test centres, and test cities have resulted in the number of candidates attended the CAT 2023 examination.
