IMD has issued yellow alerts for most parts of Maharashtra and orange alerts for Pune, Raigad, Satara, and Aurangabad. • IMD has issued an orange alert in Pune, Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Satara on September 16, 2025.
• A yellow alert  with thunderstorms, lightning, and squalls is issued in Nasik, Dhule, Jalgaon, Beed, Kolhapur, Solapur, Sangli, Latur, Nanded, Hingoli, Parbhani, Yavatmal, Washin, Bhandara, Nagpur, and Gondia for September 16, 2025. 
• Yellow alerts with heavy rain and thunderstorm warnings are issued in Thane, Palghar, Ahmednagar, Jalna, Akola, Buldhana, Amravati, and Sindhudurg for September 16, 2025.
• Pune, Raigad, Satara, and Aurangabad may receive heavy rainfall today, September 15, 2025.
• Maharashtra is under a yellow alert for September 15 and 16, 2025.
