Karnataka has been facing the wrath of continuous rains frequently for the past week in a lot of districts. The Indian Meteorological Department has not issued any severe alerts in the state; however, thunderstorms and lightning can be expected in a few parts of Karnataka. If the weather conditions change to severe in the next 12 to 24 hours, students can expect the Karnataka School Holiday on 25 October 2024. The schools in Bangalore were open on October 24, 2024. However, according to the IMD, Bangalore Rural and Urbanareas can experience thunderstorms and lightning on October 25, 2024. If the weather in Bangalore turns severe, the government authorities might call for a holiday in Bangalore schools due to rain.
